Y I Believe Kingdom
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
This phrase sets the foundation for the entire verse. The Greek word for "love" here is "ἀγαπάω" (agapao), which refers to a selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love. This is the same type of love that God shows humanity.
you will keep
The Greek word for "keep" is "τηρέω" (tēreō), which means to guard, observe, or give heed to. This implies more than just passive observance; it suggests an active, vigilant effort to maintain and uphold. In the historical context of the early church, keeping Jesus' commandments was a way to demonstrate one's faith and commitment to the new covenant established through Christ. It reflects a lifestyle of discipleship and dedication.
Welcome to the group! This is the place we move like Christ. Our ways are His ways when it comes to helping. When it comes to lifting up the less fortunate.
These inflatable tents could be a fast way to help the homeless when it's cold outside. They can be put in church parking lots and sleep 10 to 15 people. People can do things like order Uber eats and send the food to the people without leaving the house. Little heaters can be placed inside to keep them warm. Something like this until better comes along. Warm, dry, full and a place to sleep beats hungry, cold and sleeping on the sidewalk everytime.
